How the movement works
Use it to land an important headline or number with weight and force.
- 01One drop per 2.35 s (a yellow slab first, then a coral one). The slab is 250 × 100, radius 18.
- 02Fall: 0.3–0.62 s from above the frame to the floor, cubic ease-in (accelerating). While falling it is stretched 1.12× vertically.
- 03Lands at 0.62 s. The whole frame shakes for 1.1 s: x 15 px × e^(−5t) × sin(2π·5t), y 11 px × e^(−5t) × cos(2π·6.5t), rotation 0.02 rad × e^(−5t) × sin(2π·5t + 0.6).
- 04For 0.3 s after landing the slab squashes vertically by up to 22% and recovers (it widens by the same amount; anchored at its base).
- 05Four background blocks hop up to 24 px, 0.03–0.06 s late, over 0.5 s. Six white lines and six dust puffs spread from the floor and fade within 0.55 s.
- 06Exit: the slab moves 300 px up at 1.85–2.2 s (backIn, s = 1.6).
Prompt
Add an impact shake when the headline lands; it should settle within 0.4 s.
