Jump cut
Same framing, skip ahead in time. Camera position and framing stay the same while the person's position and the clock jump; time is skipped inside one scene.

How the movement works
To tighten pauses in talk or work and raise the pace, or to show time passing quickly.
- 01Join: a straight cut with no effect (0 frames); 5 shots of 0.94 s each (4.7 s ÷ 5)
- 02Camera: identical position and framing in every shot (height 1.4 m, facing forward); the background does not move by a pixel
- 03What changes: the person (7 m away) jumps in sideways position, -2.2 m → 1.4 m → -0.4 m → 2.4 m → 0.6 m; in shots 2 and 4 both arms are raised
- 04Within each shot the person is still (the jump is shown only by the difference in position and pose)
- 05Top-right clock: 10:02 → 10:17 → 10:41 → 11:06 → 11:30, showing that time was skipped in the same place
- 06Shot 5 cuts straight back to shot 1
