How the movement works

To link two scenes far apart in time or place through a shared shape or motion.

  1. 01Join: a straight cut at 2.3 s (0 frames); the blue circle has the same position (120 px right, 46 px above centre) and radius 17 px on both sides
  2. 02Outgoing shot (0–2.3 s): fixed camera (height 1.4 m); a person (1.2 m left, 7 m away) throws a ball from 0.5 s, cubic ease-out (about cubic-bezier(0.33,1,0.68,1))
  3. 03Ball: travels from above the person's head (2.3 m high) to the match point; radius 5 px → 17 px, on an arc bulging up to 30 px
  4. 04Incoming shot (2.3–4.7 s): a different place (no buildings, height 1.2 m); the blue circle in the same spot is now the sun and sinks 14 px over 2.4 s
  5. 05Marker: a blue dashed circle of radius 26 px fades in and out within 0.7 s either side of the cut
  6. 06Top-right readout shows "SHOT 1" → "SHOT 2"; at 4.7 s it cuts straight back to SHOT 1
